Street parking ban
I woke up last Friday morning finding my car gone. My neighbor’s car was gone too. Both were towed away and we got fine for about 100$ each. We parked just in front of our house.
The reason was that there was a parking ban for street sweeping. The notice was just on the little sign of the street. No email, no radio, no letters to houses. We fell victims because we had almost no time to watch the sunset, much less the parking signs. It’s funny anyway. 🙂
I contested it and they wrote me back to say I had to pay. It is
possible to get a hearing, but I don’t think there is much chance
they will let us not pay.
