[Computer tips] Delete all graphics in a Word document

November 20, 2009

I am compiling news for Dotchuoinon and do not want to manually delete all the graphics in a word file. So I search the Net and found this nifty code:

Sub DitchPictures()
Dim objPic As InlineShape

    For Each objPic In ActiveDocument.InlineShapes
        objPic.Delete
    Next objPic

End Sub

How to work it out?

(1) Go to Tools -> Macro -> Visual Basics Editor
(2) Make a new Macro and paste the code in.
(3) Save.

Now, to run, simply go to Tools -> Macro and run this saved Macro. It works wonders🙂
